About Us

Petersburg, AK Skylight Repair provides skylight repair in Petersburg, AK and across Alaska, where long winters and deep snow put skylights under more stress than almost anywhere. Snow piles up on the upslope side of the curb, and heat escaping through the glass melts it into ice dams that push water under the flashing. Short winter days also make people want more daylight, so skylight installation and solar tubes are popular. We use taller curbs, full ice and water membrane around every unit, and low-e double pane glass that cuts heat loss and reduces frost on the inside pane.
